All of our ice rinks are made of real ice and are not synthetic. Our unique ice system has been specifically designed for its rapid deployment and quick-freezing properties.
The average ice rink is 600m2 but there are smaller and larger sizes available. We can provide flexible solutions depending on your requirements. Some of our smallest rinks are 300m2 which would be 100 skaters per session. Our larger rinks are 1500m2 which can hold 500 skaters per session.
It depends on the size and construction of the rink. Typically it will take 2 to 3 days to build and freezing the water takes a further 36-72 hours. The overall build will take longer if the ground area is unlevel and a platform is needed to be built so it is level or other infrastructure is needed like skate exchange areas.
We offer tailored packages which can include a variety of skates, skating aids, ice resurfacers, temporary structures, ticketing solution, training, lighting and more. Take a look at our accessories page here.
Real ice rinks can be commercially beneficial, will increase footfall, dwell time and they provide an opportunity for income from concession stalls and seasonal markets, acting as a differentiator between you and your competitors.

It depends on the size of the rink, but you need to allow 3m2 per skater. On a 600m2 (e.g. 20mx30m) rink you could have up to 200 skaters during a session.
They can be as long as you like, but we generally recommend 45 minute sessions with a 15 minute break between each session for customers to return their skates and for the ice to be maintained.
It varies according to your location and the size of the rink; off-peak/peak time rates and other session types. Typically we see people charging anything between £10 and £20 for a 45-minute session.

We provide a range of tools to assist with maintaining the ice. This includes manual snow scrapers for maintenance of smaller ice rinks and we can also supply motorised resurfacers for larger rinks.
Currently we only operate ice rinks in the UK.
